Q. How long will my job take?
A. Typically it takes about ten working
days from the time you place your order, but if you have special needs or
a tight deadline,
just let us know and we'll bend over backwards to accommodate you. Back to

Q. I don't see what I need on your products pages.
Can you do anything else?
A. Sure. Those products are just there
for convenience sake, since about 90% of what people order falls in one
of those categories.
Just request a custom quote and give us the specifications, and we'll do
the rest. Back to the top
Q. How do I do online proofing?

Q. Are
PDFs good for accurate color proofing?
A. Yes and no. PDFs do contain accurate
color information, but there is a huge variation in computer monitors, and,
in any case, a monitor has a completely different color space than a printing
press. If you have a color printer calibrated to match offset printing, you
can print the PDF and get very good color accuracy. If you are concerned
with an accurate color proof, you can request a matchprint. (Keep in mind
that a hardcopy proof will add some time to the turnaround of your job.)
We print all jobs using the specifications
you have used in your files, so if you've set them up properly, there should
be no surprises. If you're concerned, give us a shout and we can let you know
what dot gain and trapping information you should use. Back to

Q. I
keep trying to upload my files, but I get the message "You're not allowed
to upload that file type." What do I do?
A. For security reasons we have set things up so that only
certain types of files can be uploaded. If you're getting this message, it
could be because of a couple things:
- You're trying to upload a file type that's not allowed (duh).
- If you're using a Mac, there may be no extension (i.e. "on your
filename. Just rename the file and add the proper extension (Be sure to
use the right one—there's a list on the Upload Page.
The safest way to handle things is to put everything in a single folder
or directory and compress the whole thing with WinZip (PC) or Stuffit
(Mac). Back to the top
Q. I keep trying to upload my files, but I get
the message "That file already exists." What
do I do?
A. Rename your file and try again. Someone
else may have uploaded a file with the same name. This is likely to happen
if you use
a generic
name like "brochure.pmd". We suggest you use more specific names such
as "yourcompany_brochure_061503.pmd". That will also help us keep better
track of your documents. Back to the top
Q. I keep trying to upload my files, but I get
the message "Your filename contains an illegal character." What do I do?
A. Certain characters are not allowed
in filenames on our server. Use only letters, numbers and the underscore
character and you'll
be safe (no spaces, "/", "!", "\", "~", etc.). Back
